I wanted to thank the fellas for a great time here in lincoln this weekend. The pool was great, the show was great-even if earl thinks we are all uneducated as to when we should applaud the players. I know there were issues, but tell me the last time you saw 2 players of this caliber in this format going head to toe. I know there were stream issues, and i'm sorry for that. I saw the computer monitor tvmike had running, and it looked great from his screen. Ustream screwed the pooch, and the event. Even so Mark stepped up, and he should be commended for that. Hats off to those who made this happen, pool needs more events like this if it wants to survive-maybe even succeed. Support events like this, everyone in the pool community benefits from their success.

Good thread these guys all worked hard to make this a success. Mark is always thinking and learning, I cant wait to see what he is planning in the future.

Great post Dana. The match was great, Johnny was Johnny and Earl was Earl, and that makes for great pool. Earl showed heart to get up and run 138 after sitting and watching Johnny run 140! Once again Mark Cantrill delivered, along with AirArt1 to bring great pool to a great pool town. As a co-sponsor, I could not be happier with the events we have had here in Lincoln.
