I want to thank PoolDawg for becoming the official sponsor of my blog:

sticksandballsandholes.blogspot.com

This company has done a ton to support pool, especially female players and the WPBA. I am really glad to have been able to partner with them for the last two years and I am excited that they have stepped up their sponsorship of my game. Thanks especially to Mike Feiman who let me get him drunk and talk him into this!

Thanks again,

Liz Ford

Our pleasure Liz. I love reading your blog, so it seemed like a pretty natural fit. Plus, you were nice enough to hang out with me for far more hours than necessary at the Colorado Classic so I didn't have to drink alone while Rousey was on the mic. ;-)

A Great Team

Sound like Pool Dawg and Liz will make a great team. Good luck in China Liz!

Liz:

Congratulations to you -- it couldn't have happened to a more deserving player and person!

BTW, you might want to know that the link you created in the post above has a typo in it. While the link cover text is correct, the underlying link is not (the underlying link points to "stick..." instead of "sticks..." even though the label text shows the correct "sticks..."). So folks clicking on it will be brought to BlogSpot's generic page telling them that particular blog doesn't exist, but the visitor is more than welcome to create it.

Here is the correct link for all:

http://sticksandballsandholes.blogspot.com/

Again, congrats to you, Liz!

Correct link, and a tip for easier navigation around the Internet

Over 40:

You must've encountered the underlying link typo as well, and tried to offer a corrected link as a courtesy. Very cool! :thumbup2: x 2

However, you have "bolgspot" in the above link, and only goes to a domain provider's generic "catch all" page for domain hosting.

Here's the correct link:

http://sticksandballsandholes.blogspot.com/

Folks:

Just as a friendly FYI, it is not necessary to put "www" in URLs anymore, per industry standard hosting practices in DNS. In fact, in the case of blogs whereby the name of the blog -- i.e. "sticksandballsandholes" -- is already a leaf / offshoot of an established domain (i.e. "blogspot.com"), prepending "www" can actually confuse the issue! (That is, blogspot.com is a blog hosting provider, so any name prefixing it is intended to be a "blog" -- a webpage by definition. It doesn't need yet another "www" host definition.)

Just some helpful insight from someone who works with this stuff day-in/day-out.
