The students at Sullivan Middle School would like to send a most heartfelt thank you to Iwan Simonis cloth for there incredible donation of 4 beds of 860 cloth to refelt all of our tables. Just the excitement of the donation alone brought two new students into the class today who want to begin taking lessons. We cannot express how much this means to us. Since I have not gotten 100% permission from the students parents to post their photos online, I did my best artist rendition as I could. I think I really captured the moment.Thank you again.

I got a donation of 2 rips of Simonis 860HR tour blue as well as a donation of 2 sets of ridgebackrails for the 2 Valley 8ft bar tables in the Yakima,WA YMCA last month as well. As soon as i get a chance to take a break from moving to the Spokane, WA area I'll make the 400 mile round trip drive to go fix their pool tables up. Simonis and Ridgebackrails have had and always will have my support 100%

That is awesome to hear. That is a crazy long trip to make to take care of that. Have you tried reaching out to companies in the area that may be willing to donate the work to you? That is what I've had to do for every bit of my program. I have had absolutely awesome friends and companies that have made this happen. Good luck to you. I might eventually have to look at contacting Ridgeback as the rails will eventually need it. Good luck up there

The problem with the local table mechanics....IS the local table mechanics! The last time the tables were recovered, they told the center they were only charging them for the cloth, NO LABOR! Well, shit woven wool cloth don't cost no $250 per table, and the cushions are so bad they're crumbling under the rail cloth. Same kind of work is done in all the bars in the area. So, i told the director that although i don't promote recovering pool tables anymore....i would make an EXCEPTION in their case and fix their tables up myself....and show them what free really is, and that they would have bragging rights as to who has the best playing tables in the Yakima and surounding areas.

That is terrible that is the quality work around there is so poor. Good on you for making sure they have good equipment there.

You're the best, Glen! Lead by example. A soft heart when it counts. Bravo, sir!!!

I'm not always an a-hole contraire to what some may believe, i just can't stand shit work done on pool tables...LMAO

I can't stand to see tables that play poorly. That is why I love playing any place that Ernesto Dominguez has done the tables. He is just a phenomenal table mechanic and all around amazing gentleman. Glad to know there are others out there that care as much about the conditions of the table.
