:) I just wanted everyone to know about how Chris is treating his customers.
i am very new to this and probably will ask a lot of stupid (or just uninformed) questions. but i ordered a midsize lathe from him,, recived it in less than 10 days,, called back yesterday( monday) to order a feed motor and a few odd bits. he recommended a few io might need . and i recived the order today before lunch.. now that is what i call service....

Thanks for the kind words. Wow. Only one day on the ground by UPS. No need for you to ever pay next day air or second day air as ground shipping gets to you in one day. Have fun with your machine.
 
You can't do any better than Chris Hightower for machinery and for an awfully good person. Period!
 
chris has the best customer service in the industry IMO. i have delt with alot of ppl and have alot of friends but chris give alot of help.

it is virtually impossible to be better!
 
I agree one hundred percent about Chris being awesome to deal with, I ordered a bearing and collet set for my steady rest. When I tried the bearing it didn't roll freely because of a hairline crack in the outer race, I called Chris and he next dayed a new bearing and didn't want me to send the first one back. Thats alot of trust to a new customer who will be a long time customer from now on.--Leonard
 
Chris is jam up guy. I've had dealings with him for years. Many years back he purchased a small lathe from me, and we've been friends from that time on. Chris really works hard for the industry. If anyone should ever go into the "Hall Of Fame", Chris should be at the top of the list.
He's top knotch.
