I just completed a deal with Deno and wanted everyone to know what a wonderful experience it was. Everything was handled professionally, honestly and with great communication. Both sides are happy with the transaction and the way it was conducted. What more can you ask?

Thanks, Deno! You went above and beyond and are "da man"! Hopefully, I can meet you in person the next time I am in your area. I would also love to watch you play 3-c.

p.s. Have you ever heard of a 3-c player from Kansas City (actually Raytown, MO), named Don Brink? When I lived in KC in 1979-81, he owned Raytown Recreation, was one of the better U.S. 3-c players and taught me the basics of the game.

The pleasure was mine, really. I hope that we can meet too some day soon. Let me know before you get to town so that I can set aside some time.

I know Don and his son Doug and have played in many tournaments with them ten years ago or so. They are both super nice people and great players, each in their own right. Doug has a higher average than his dad, but I would rather play Doug. I know that sounds crazy, but I have never seen anyone fight like Don when behind. Doug is pretty consistent and a well above average player. You had a good teacher for the basics (and the not so basics) of the game.

I'm glad to know Don was still playing. I really didn't get to know Doug too well, but saw him play. The only reason we didn't get beyond the basics was that I couldn't master them (or even become fairly proficient). Those silly pocket tables kept calling me away from 3-c practice. lol

There was another thread on the main forum asking which game you would pick to be "expert" at. If money (income) was not the issue, I would pick 3-cushion, just because it is such an elegant game. Now, I can't even find a good table to play on.
