Thanks for posting CJ

calculations are directly related to the players skill level and knowledge

I agree.

Thanks CJ!

The least you do is give us some things to think about.

That is, if.... one actually wants to think about anything.

Again...Thanks,

Rick

Pool at the highest levels is calculating odds, percentages and margin of error.

These odds and calculations are directly related to the players skill level and knowledge of levels of the game that one must be willing to believe are there.....and then seek to find them.

The deeper your understanding of this game, the more you'll see how much there is to learn....and your depth of questioning will evolve exponentially.

I am believer... and I appreciate all you do as well CJ...

I have been devouring everything i can find that players seem to use the technique.. old cj videos-- scott frost videos(he uses it a lot in rotation games) .. Shaw... dave Hemmah... and some others...

Since there is not a lot of cjs videos floating around and i have seen them all on youtube and accustats online... I have recently been watching all of Jayson Shaws videos and I do believe that he uses the skill very effectively and on the vast majority of his shots.

There..... i said it!!!!

A lot of people can learn from a lot of people on this site.
If you can't learn anything from C.J. Wiley then you should go to baseball forum.

C.J. is the only player that has ever come to the site and actually participates in depth. He is a thick skinned guy that is for sure. Whether you agree with his teaching or not does not mean to attack him or anyone else. People always looking to tear things apart, pulling up posts from a year ago. Do they have anything better to do, always trying to find fault, is life that boring. They are like the forum police looking for a promotion. Well I am promoting you to King A^^^^ole. If you don't like it don't read it.

I read just about everything everyone writes, different styles, techniques, the good and the bad. I take what I feel is good for me and I leave the rest alone, but I do not close my eyes to any of it.

I think there is a group on this site that sees things one way, their way. If anyone steps around their circle they feel threatened, why I don't know, it's just people sharing what they know, their theories, experiences that we can all learn from.

C.J. deserves to sell 1,000,000,000 DVD's just for having skin as thick as a rhino.
Sincerely: SS

Well said.

How do you ignore someone who has achieved a level of success that few if any on these forums have found?

Amazing that the "knockers" haven't driven him away. Thick skinned and confident in his belief's.

You have made a good effort at applying common sense, courtesy, and reason to a group of hard-heads who have lived their entire lives with closed minds.
Not much hope for them. The cure for them is the ignore feature.

TOI is soo cool

Like a lot of players I baulked at something new. I gave it a half hearted try and said "this isn't for me". Then when you said you would be headed this way and we scheduled a training day I thought I better give it a close look.

It took a little time (really very little), about 3 hours, and it all started to make sense. I am beginning to get a real feel for this method and a better feel for the relationship between the ball, English, and target then I ever had before. I can now visualize shots with my old method of aiming better as well. Even if I decide to put outside English on a slow soft shot, I now have a much better feel for the amount to use and the impact it is likely to have.

Last night, in tournament play, I had two long cut shots I expected to miss. I said "I will probably miss this shot anyway so this might be a good time to try TOI". I made both shots.

I am now about a 50%er, using TOI (I use it on about 50% of my shots). I am looking forward to learning how to use TOI in place of a lot of shots I use now which appear easy but deliver inconsistent results.

Thanks CJ

Sedona Az. is one of my all-time favorite places

I'm glad you're getting your feet wet using the TOI system. It teaches a lot more than anyone could understand consciously, because it allows the player to tap into a dimension of pool that they aren't currently using.

Looks like I'll spend a couple of days in Phoenix, and go to Sedona for a few as well. Sedona Az. is one of my all-time favorite places, I've climbed several of their mountains.

Play Well my friend.
