Late as usual, but wanted to express my appreciation to all the people who made this SBE one to remember. I'm sure I'll forget some people so I apologize in advance. How about Andy Gilbert's beard, I kept wanting to take a black sharpie to it. Nothing like talking wrap techniques with Martin and then realizing Kenny Koo is standing there. Having to wade thru, Barry, Pete Sr., Art, Mike Bender, and Bill Shick, just to get to the rest room. Cornerstones booth was quite the gathering place. Getting to put faces with names, like Alton, Mark Sevelli, seeing Mike Mason again. I think Marcus holds the land speed record for going from one end of the show to the other, the man never stops. Talking Balabushka's with Mark K. and Joe from Pool Table Magic. Seeing Troy and Jamie again. Lee(Brianna), for introducing me to Paul Mottey. Memorable sights, Showman, Searing and Jimbo, taking up the majority of a hall way. Seeing Richard Black and Tim Scruggs get richly deserved awards. Sometimes the long hours in the shop can start to wear you down, but then you remember the kind words of someone who's eyes light up when they hold one of your cues. Suddenly life is good. Here's some pics of my skulls cue. Something different for me.

Very nice and unique cue there Steve. Top notch work.

I actually hope to make it to SBE in the future and get to meet you and some others on here. I am sure the long hours do wear on a lot of cue makers, but it sure makes a bunch of people very happy. Nothing like opening a shipping box to some awesome eye candy  And your work is right up there with ANY of them. You make all different styles of cues to satisfy many peoples tastes, as well as having a great style all your own. And you never can forget the most important part, they play lights out.

Wish you the best in 2009,

Kevin

Hello Steve,
It was a real pleasure talking to you today. One of the first custom cues I had was one of yours and now I can't wait for the one you're finishing ;)

Congrats on a great show Steve! Your Busha tribute cue got a lot of attention...I knew that one would sell quickly. It's always great to see you again at the SBE. Your cues are top notch and I'm proud to be the new owner of your "Sunburst" cue. That one will be staying with me for a while.

Now that is what art looks like on a cue.. Very good,,

Hey Steve,

You didn't let Jimbo get his hands on that skull cue did you?

Regards,

Steve
