your triple cool, there is a solid reason why I did, he is a risk to do biz with so to protect someone from seeing his nice neat avitar looking like he is building cues, I didnt want someone to come here see that and have them get tangled up in a bad deal. I did it [gave Eddie red rep after he was banned] to protect some one in a year from now digging through old threads, I did NOT rep him rep to hurt EW. thats why i did that,

Fatboy, I originally wrote about the idea of continuing to red rep him until he was all the way in the red, even after he was banned, in order to protect future members who are in the market for a cue and might stumble upon his old posts. I still don't think it is a bad idea.

The thing is, I assumed it was possible to do, but when I and several others tried it we can't figure out how to do it. The rep button is missing from all of his posts. Can you explain the how you were able to red rep him after he was banned so that anyone else who wants to do it will also be able to? Thanks.

I just wanted to say thank you to all responsible parties concerning EW no longer being part of this forum. He is/was the only member that I have ever truly felt flat out did not deserve to be on here. Between the bad business practices, which were directed at US, otherwise I wouldn't care, and the way he treated people in general, and Mr Edwards in particular, he was an absolut detriment to this forum. i just went to a random post of his and the red rep button was there so i hit him for the reason you started-to protect others, it worked once. not a second time.
