When you play pool on the pro level, actually, when you play pool at ANY level, you find out really soon to listen to your first instincts. I'm trying to learn from my mistakes and if that means taking a break on the last 9-ball of the match because I've not had my break, or because I'm not feeling well, that's what I'm gonna do. I'm still human at the "pro-level" therefore I still make mistakes; so I try to keep a clear mind on EVERY shot, in every game, at every match. Believe it or not, I've missed a shot or two like that in my pool-playing career that has cost me the set. Also, if you pay close attention to my game there have been times that I've taken my break after the first, second or third game in a match that is a race to 11. Many things that the spectators don't see, such as nervousness, and remembering situations "de ja vu" (don't know how that's spelled) do influence the final outcome of a match. Just the facts, whether you agree with them or not.Nostroke said:On the nine ball in the last game and you took your break because of your stomach?
