** The 2nd Annual Big Tyme Classic - $10,000 Added Guaranteed - March 20-23rd **

I do not know if I will be able to make it....
I will let you know something as soon as I know.
Thanks Brent

ONE POCKET is full.....get on the wait list, someone will probably drop out :)
9 BALL BANKS has a few spots left....

9 BALL MAIN EVENT has 90 entered, don't wait much longer, as most of the locals could dive in and fill it up anytime. They are notorious for waiting till the last minute.

9 ball champ

The Big Tyme Classic's reigning 9 ball champ, James Walden, showed up at a tourney at Starlite in Ardmore Ok. Was the highest rated player and won it. He was shooting good. It was 8 ball fyi.

You guys have put together what looks like one of the best tournaments of the year. Four days of tournament play with amateurs, pros, one pocket, and banks.... I am nobody special in the pool world, but I am really impressed with what you have built in just 2 years. As for the Tourney Directors, I do remember Ming Ng from the WPBA days, and that girl can really play well. It wouldn't surprise me if she placed high with the men in the nine ball.

It is a ten hour drive from my home, but I am actually considering the trip.

I visited your website, like it, and I was curious how you are going to use those 8 foot Gandy Tables. A lot of the younger guys have never played on the Gandy, but I know it to be a fine table if maintained. I hope the One Pocket will be held on the Gold Crown or Diamond 9 Foots (or both). The game needs a big table to tighten the nuts on those long all-or-nothing shots.

Thanks again for making an event like this happen. We need a lot more pool rooms and sponsors like you guys, that's for sure.

Thanks, Where you from?

The 8 fts up front are removed. It is played on diamond bar tables for the main event, womens, and seniors. The onepocket and banks are on 6 - 9ft tables.

Yes Ming Ming use to play well. She has not been into playing much at all over the past 4-5 years. Very off and on prior to some tourneys. She plays a lot of poker these days. :)

If we keep filling the fields each year, I'm sure the $ will keep going up.

I'm down in the Sugar Land area, I may drive up for this one and spectate :) I've never been to Big Tyme.

A little clarification please Brent!

Last year, the senior matches were played on oversized 8 foot tables. This year, the flyer says they will be played on the Diamond 7 footers. I have no problem with that at all but I am just wanting to be sure. Was this a typo or...are the senior matches actually going to be played on the Diamond 7 footers?

Thanks...you put on a great tournament!

Check post #11. Under the seniors event on the official flier.
It say on diamonds if possible.

I'm hoping to convince them to get the 4 extra tables in this year, will give the seniors much more room to play and drastically speed up Saturdays play. I've got access to the tables, but convincing them it's the right thing to do is another thing. Which wasn't bad last time, but I prefer it to be as good as possible.

Bump it up

Very few spots left.
Sign up for the women's, seniors and 9 ball main event.

Onepocket and banks are full. If you had an invite and have not made arrangements you have till Thursday, there's a list of players waiting to take your spots. So top players don't wait around, you will lose your spot.

Less than 20 spots left in the 9 ball main event.
Get your entry paid or be left out. You can't get 80/1 on the cash at any other tourney on this weekend.

Darn, I wanted to play in the One Pocket and Banks :). Maybe next year! I think if I stick with it I may have potential at this game. Give me another year or two and I will be ready for the Big Tyme! :D

P.S. Good luck with your event. I wish I could be there.

Seniors openings?

Brent, I am trying to convince two gentlemen to play. Do you still have openings in the senior event?

Yes, there are a few openings left in the seniors event.
I'd advise getting your entry in before the day of the event, as it was full last year beforehand.

You can pay cash, paypal, or CC

Will post the complete list later today. The 9 Ball is full. The onepocket is full. The Banks is full.

Does anyone know what time they usually have the 2nd day of the 9 ball open usually start?

This year Saturday will start at 10:00 A.M. (and) Sunday the main Event will start at 1:00 P.M.

We have more tables so we can start a little later on Sunday for the Main Event.

And it will make it easier to get the Ladies and Seniors Events going at Noon.

Below is the list of entrants for the 9-Ball Main Event. The field is full.

With the last minute defections of Dennis Orcollo and Carlos Biado, and the 3-4 solid players that went elsewhere to avoid them, I think we have a very solid field of players.
