I have been posting on AZ Billiards since 2005 and lurked here before that. I've got a lot of good info on playing, pool and billiard equipment, and what's going on and coming up in the pool world over the years. AZ is by far the best Pool & Billiard Forum in the world.
But the one thing that I have to laugh at is when a NEW tournament or tour is coming out. First let me say it's not all of them. At first the owners of other tours and tournaments or their friends come on to bad mouth the new tour before anyone even knows the particulars. Then you have the ones on here and their friends that work for medium to large tournaments. You know…refs, TD's, commentators, and others that could make a good buck if hired.
At first their quiet, then as it becomes apparent they are or are not going to be hired they split up. The ones that got or might be hired come on here and say this is the best thing that happened to pool in 50 years. The ones not being hired say it's going to be another black eye for pool and the people running it can't be trusted blah, blah, blah. But what really gets me rolling on the floor laughing is when one of them gets hired late. Then they do a complete 360 on here telling everyone how great these guys are that are helping pool and we all need to support them. The one's that thought they would be hired and weren't start to bad-mouth the new tournament or tour. And last but not least are the guys that bad mouthed it and find out they might get hired for the next one. Wow, the back-pedaling is truly amazing. Johnnyt
