The 9-Ball Ghost is Mine

Did you count that first game after you CB fouled while shooting the 4-ball? I stopped watching after that.

Actually i noticed it when i edited the video and i got pretty mad to myself not noticing while shooting it... Then i tought it's not that big of a deal and
posted it.
I'm going to keep it in the Youtube till i get my score down to 7-1 or 7-2...

Sorry to hear that you don't call fouls on yourself. I'm not buying into you saying that you didn't notice it until after seeing it on video. Being a golfer myself, I mark all penalties and add them to my scorecard. Why should pool be any different? Golfers that are caught cheating are quickly identified and weeded out.

Don't forget to edit out all the fouls. I'm sure the ghost won't mind.

just so you get the phrasing right

I finally beat that #&^#$$% 9-ball ghost three times in a row. 7-5, 7-4, 7-6. Here I come 10-ball ghost. So what if it's a 7-foot Valley:p . Johnnyt

You should say: The 9ball ghost is my *****. Congrats well done.

Why are you saying all that?
I taped it for myself and i didn't mind the foul when i saw it so i don't understand why you say all that...

Typical rules on playing nine ball ghost question:

I know you break and take ball in hand and balls stay down, but does playing early combo's on the nine count in your score against the ghost or are you expected to run out the table before shooting the nine? I would assume combos count as well since they count in a real game.

Either way I would think the next step from beating the 9 ball ghost would be 9 ball ghost no ball in hand after the break, maybe I am wrong maybe that is more difficult than 10 ball ghost with ball in hand?

If I make 9 on the snap or combo the ghost loses. Can't give the #$&^%%^ all the weight. Johnnyt

Thanks for the feedback, do you think it is more difficult to beat 10 ball ghost with ball in hand or 9 ball ghost without ball in hand?

I think people might be divided in this regard. Most, I think, count combo's on the 9 as a win. I think some count the 9 on the break as a win. My opinion is that the point of playing the ghost is to work on your run out abilities, early combo's and 9's on the break defeat that purpose.

And the 9 ball ghost without BIH is much more difficult, keep in mind that to win you need to have a a minimum of a 53% break and run out percentage.
