Questions:

What's the expected size/size limit on the field?
I've never played an APT tour event, although I know how I match up against many players that have. What would my entry fee be?

Thanks.

Hi Andrew,
I don't want to speak for Ozzy, but my opinion is that you would pay the advanced entry ($50) (that's what I pay). Plus, you'd have to pay either the one-time or yearly membership fee.

They will probably get around 60 people, plus or minus. There will be some waiting time since there aren't too many tables, but, as you know, it's a great venue with plenty of spectating room & a nice bar, so the time passes in comfort.

Hope you come out! I'd like to get revenge after the ass-whipping you gave me last time!

Well, also not speaking for Ozzy, I would agree that whatever category you fall in should be the category I fall in also.

60's a lot of players for that number of tables, but I think I'll still plan to give it a shot.

any chance this tournament will finish up in 1 day? has it previously when at sterling?

Ver nice pool room and great diamond table! And the owner love action! But I won't be there...maybe I'll stop by and said hi to ozzy and Antony

Wife has approved (although I had to trade in my Thursday night, so I'll be getting no practice this week), so I'm definitely going to play in this. I hope to see a lot of you there.

Info

Andrew:
I'm sorry for not responding in a more timely manner...I really try to do better than that. Fortunately, it looks like my good friend Beetle took care of your question.

hlymnstr14:
No, there is almost zero chance that we will finish in one day. It looks like this will be a very good turnout so Saturday may run a little late. We are going to really try to end day #1 by midnight.

pookster:
You need to play rather than simply being a rail bird. You play too strong to sit on the sidelines!

Thanks and I look forward to seeing all of you this weekend!

No worries, Ozzy. Looking forward to meeting you Saturday.

One more question: anyone know what time the doors will open in the morning? I'd like to get on a practice table as early as possible.
