Well folks it is the end of the world officially. Earl has gone carbon fiber. My favorite player has gone to the dark side. I just watched a video from an exhibition on 5/17/23 with Earl shooting with his new JFlowers cue with a carbon fiber shaft. He was missing a ton of balls. easy shots. Must be a big adjustment. Time to go sit on some train tracks, watch the sunset and remember yesteryear.

Rodney Morris was also part of this exhibition (or portions of the trip). Did he switch also? He was one of the last remaining pro players with a full deflection conventional wood shaft.
As far as I know Tony Chohan, Lee Van, maybe some other Filipino/Taiwanese folks are the last holdouts. Tony uses his Southwest with a LePro tip. He plays fairly sporty. Alex uses so much different crap but I bet some of his shafts are standard. He has his Mezz/AC/Lomax etc
I wonder if Daulton still plays with his super fancy cue with the ivory ferrules.
