Professional men’s/open tour.
*26 events.
*Tour stops across North America in the large centres.
*Standardized fields (128) and payouts (25K to the winner at least, payout to 1/2 the field).
*Both local sponsorship for individual events and national sponsorship for the tour as a whole.
*Qualification tournaments for tour cards.
*Invite only tournaments to players with tour cards and a few sponsor exemptions much as the PGA works.
*Money requirements for keeping your card the following year, the bottom lose out to make room for the new qualifiers getting their cards.
*Played on standardized Diamond tables (Great publicity for MG) with standardized Simonis cloth (they gotta sponsor though or else some other cloth company).
*Played only in large event centres with paid admission seating (cheap until it catches on), no pool halls.

This is my dream.

Dreams are how things get started. I too, have a similar dream of being part of getting this thing started. I may not find the funding, but I will ask. I have a plan to start searching for the funds after the end of this month. My plan was only for about 12 stops the first year. But 26 would be nice. Sam

Why not have an evening pro-am before the tournament? Proceeds to charity, encourage local celebrities to participate, encourage media coverage. It is a lot easier to obtain corporate backing if some portion goes to charity (ask the PGA).
