Which country do you think has the best young players? I know out here in the USA there are some very strong players that are just kids. I also heard about some kids in Taiwan that play phenominal, even better than Wu. But I heard the greatest of the young players are in the Phillipines. My friend goes there alot, and he is a very strong shortstop, just a notch under pro speed. Over there he gets spotted the 7 ball from 15 and 16 year old kids. He told me that there are ALOT of them that run racks of 15 ball rotation like nothing. They should come to the USA and bet it up. I know alot of the young players out here like to bet high. Which country has the best in your opinion?

I think it's undeniable that the best young players are from Taiwan and the Philippines, but one refreshing exception is 12 year old American phenom Austin Murphy, who looks like he'll have to be reckoned with at pro level very soon.

i know some of the young guns in taiwan play in the junior worlds but why none of the young guns in phillipines play in the junior worlds ? That would be interesting.

Most likely they can't afford it, and can't find sponsors.

I'm not all that familiar with the young guns from the Phillipines but it certainly sounds like they play at pro speed (already)

The Taiwanese have their crop of great young players as well, including Yu-Lun Wu who can play with some of the best in Taiwan.

Many taiwanee kids also played very well in WPC, but where were the young players from the phillipines? It is also very interesting.

I believe Austin's now 13. How time flys. He's a great kid and should do quite well with what ever he pursues. He has great family support and has his head screwed on right. Bravo to him and his family.
