The Best Hard tip?

I have tried a few Hard tips out there. I am currently shooting with a Tiger hard. It seems to give good action around the table.
The reason I prefer the harder tips is that they seem to give less deflection or squirt on the cueball when you need english to get around the table. And I prefer a firm hit as to a spongy one from a soft tip.

I have also tried the Talisman Hard but still prefer the Tiger over the Talisman. However could someone give me a little insight on the Moori Quick or Hercules hard tips?

the moori quick is the hardest tip i ever had the mispleasure to play with, the other one was the original everest tip from 1998. now, then if you like very hard tips, and want a little more action i suggest you try a triumph. they are very hard, with a little more forgivness. p.s. i feel the moori quick is the best break and jump tip.

I think there are too many players asking which is the best tip. And not enough who have actually tried different tips.

I would suggest getting tip replacement tools and an old cue, then trying different tips yourself. Then you will know what works best for you.

(When first learning to replace your own tips, it is easy to damage the ferrule, so best to learn on a cheap cue...)

I did this and found a big difference between various tips. I decided I liked the Moori Q the best for my playing cue. But I use a Tiger break/jump tip for my breaking cue. Phenolic for jump cue. And Triangle (medium) on my masse' cue.
