Or Thiland, Singapore, or Phillipines.

Definitely not Singapore. I cannot recall if we still have a 24hr pool hall. Nope. Not anymore.

We are staved of decent tourneys as well.

I am surprised you did not mention Taiwan. Taiwan will probably fulfill all his criteria. and more.......

Tulsa, Oklahoma is the place ya outta be...so ya load up the truck and ya move to Beverly...Tulsa that is...swimmin' pools...movie stars...lotsa trees...plenty pool! :) Ok, you get the point though. Outside of the U.S. your best bet would definately be Taiwan, but I'm beginning to think their whole citizenry plays world class! Best of luck in your search man.

If you want to improve your game MANILLA would be a solid choice, but, not so much if you want to score.

Florida.

spring hill
jax isint bad
tally
penesecola
tampa bay
orlando
miami

a lot of pool halls everywhere but none really stick out like capones does.

I found the towns and cities near military bases in Alaska to be like ATM's for hustling pool. I believe there were over 30 bars that all had tables in Fairbanks. It was like net fishing.:) Johnnyt

Did you ever play in Cheap Charlies? If so you probably took me for some money back when I started playing around 89-92

Short answer: With their parents!

  great answer! but being serious, avoid Colorado (unless you are a bar box fan) and Connecticut (TX or the DC/MD/VA areas seem to be the best so far that I have lived).
