The Miller Lite World Series of Pool...thousands of men and women played in qualifiers, some earned entry and airline tickets to the final at Caesars in Vegas. Very classy and professional.

I liked the Miller Lite world series of tavern pool.
I wasnt happy that a 256 player trnmnt had over 350 entrants.
I was called by the trnmnt people,they claimed my entryfee check bounced. I called my bank, check was never presented. Funds were always available. Called the trnmnt people back said run it again. They called back 2 days later with the same story. I called the bank,check never presented,hence never returned. Called trnmnt back guy says look we want you to play. Come and pay entry fee plus 2 15.00 return fees in cash.
I won the trip-airfare&hotel so I was cool with their solution.
Still wonder if the whole thing was a scam? Anyone else have a similar story?
