The Cantando Cobra Cue

This cue was just delivered. Hot off of Art's workbench. This cue was started many years ago and was destined to be Art's playing cue. The scrimshaw work was done by the acclaimed scrim artist Sandra Brady. The wood and other parts of this cue were carefully chosen over the years for their beauty. This is the most beautiful cue I've ever seen!!. My pictures do not do it justice. I'm sure this is one of the top cues ever done by Mr. Cantando. I feel honored he was willing to share this cue with me. This cue is not for sale.

i am normally not a fan of snakewood, but in a cobra cue one has to admit that it has its place.
incredible looking piece of art, sir! (no pun intended.)

Snakeskin wrap....

I am not a fan of snakeskin wraps...but this seems appropriate.

Super Nice Cantando

Tommy

While passing Sandra's booth at this years Super Billiards Expo I was immediately drawn to the piece of artwork that is now the butt sleeve of this cue. As I had told her that I was anxious to see this once the cue was finished. This is one fine looking cue with some amazing scrimshaw work to say the least. Thanks so much for posting these pictures for everyones enjoyment.

It's stunning Tom. The combinations are very unique and flow together perfectly. Love those two way points. What is the correct term for them?

Cantando Cue

Everything on this cue goes so well together and that scrimshaw work is just outstanding.

The cue has 8 high points. Most cues with 8 points have 4 low and 4 high. This is a little different. Art did some nice work on this cue. The shafts are amazing. Very dark and dense. Art said he had been saving them for a special cue.

Great looking cue! I've never been a big fan of snakewood either, but I'm very impressed with this cue. Everything seems to "flow", and the scrimshaw work is amazing.

Congrats to the owner and congrats to the craftsman!

Your Cobra cue is INCREDIBLE. I saw it in Art's shop during the Hopkins Expo before it was finished and was very impressed. Now that the cue is finished, I'm blown away. Great addition to your most impressive collection. I will be posting photos of the Blue Book Cantando cue I received today from Art on AZB this weekend. The cue is awesome.
