What is The Craziest Thing that every happened to you because you were in a hurry to get to Pool?

This could be an accident, incident or something you did in order to save time or resulted from your wanting to get to Pool
.

I had the winning lottery numbers but decided I didnt want to wait in line to play because the line was too long and there was action at the pool room that I needed to get to. I didnt know I had the winning numbers at the time.

Just kidding but that would be crazy.

I remember getting out of my car in such a hurry that I ripped my pants all the way from the butt to the crotch. A normal person would've gone home and changed... I still played. Embarrassing.

Back in the 80s, a cab driver double-parked on a side street and ran up to our second
floor pool hall for a take-out coffee...he was our city champ that year.
He ended up making a game and won a few hundred.....
...then he realized that he had left his car running and had to get it at the pound.

The first year I played league with my brother. we had put together a pretty good team by local standards (not so much at the State level). We were so excited for that first night against a new team in the league who had some good shooters on it.

We hurried through the milking and chores, got down to our location and won all four rounds. The next morning, when I went to the barn where some older calves were penned, I saw that I had left the water running while filling up the water barrel in the pen. The whole pen was flooded with 12 to 20 inches, and those poor calves were not able to lay down inside for 12 hours (they were able to get outside to a dry spot). It took a while to scoop all the water out the door.

winner....hahaha, that is funny right there.

I was putting in a new staircase and nailing down stairs in my house when I realized I was late to a match. I went and got my cue and ran down the stairs, hit the un-nailed stair, flipped upside down and fell 8 feet straight onto my head. Cracked my head open and got a severe concussion, and broke my back about 10 years later probably due to that fall weakening things. I still have a long scar running down the middle of my head that people just think is a part line. The worst part was that I lost my match due to forfeit ;)

Hit an 8 point

Just this year (about 5 weeks ago), I hit an 8-point buck, ironically, on opening day of buck season..

I didn't turn at the road I would usually turn at, because the driver in front of me turned there and was going way too slow for me. So I went a different way, and 5 mins later a big ass buck did $11K of damage to my AMG (car in my avatar)..

Still waiting for it to get back from the repair shop. .
