The Dave Piona Memroial Tournament This Sunday

There should be a lot of good matches to watch and have some fun even if you don't decide to enter the tournament. The food is always good as well, and we hope to see you there!

A great event for Dave, and all the good memories we had with him. Come and celebrate with Christine and possibly Star will be there as well late in the afternoon.

There were 50+ players at last Sundays 1st of the month tournament. The turnout for this should be HUGE! Short races and they usually pay out a large percentage of the field. It will be a who's / who of California pool players, and who knows who else may show up for the added $$. This will be a great tournament. John Henderson
 
I will be there from Vegas to show my respect for my good friend Dave Piona and his family. It will be good to see a lot of the people I know from the old Great American Billiards in the late 80s when I worked there. Bill Stock
 
80-100 players expected, maybe more?

Lots of BUZZ about this tournament.
Most of the players from the Bay Area and Northern California will be here.

I run all the tournaments at Hard Times Billiards in Sacramento Ca.

I'll take all the blame and just some of the credit.

The owners (Chuck his son Mike and Mike's wife Karen Markulis) have had a habit of putting close to $60,000 back into Added Money and support every year since 1998 at this location.

By the way, the Piona family received an envelope of $800 from donations for the single day event.

Next Year.... Dave's favorite.... One Pocket.
