The Decider Day One Thoughts

slop????

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!
have i got this right?
Shane just did a combo for high-ball, off of Earl's low-ball????
in Detroit - we call this SLOP.

so the 8-ball is NEUTRAL too????
this wouldn't get-it, on MY table....

The old gentleman I stole my game from use to play it like this. If the opponent is not on the 8 then it is not his ball & it is neutral but when the opponent is on the 8 then it is his ball & it is not neutral.

I play a lot of call your shot & we play that you can carom off your opponents ball as long as you call the shot. Any shot is good as long as you call it exactly & hit your ball first.

Now there is guy that I play that his dad taught him that you can not use the opponents ball or the 8 in any way. Every shot has to be 'clean'. I am the only one that will play him that way.

Regards & Best Wishes,
Rick

What's the score. It's killing me to have to miss this...

11-10 Earl.

edit: that was from the announcers. One game later they say it's 12-11. ??? So, I guess the score is somewhere around there.

Shane dogs the 3, Earl running out, bad on last two balls, banks both in, then long rail kicks in the 8. 14-11 Earl. 11 or 12 for Shane, announcers can't seem to keep track for some reason.

Shane breaks and runs out. Shane is obviously irked by Earl banking two in and kicking out instead of banking the 8 short rail. He's on a mission now.

SVB breaks and runs out again, 15-14 Shane. Slams the break, cb goes flying to the next county.

Some back and forth about cb behind the line or anywhere. Earl called someone (Shane??) and amateur for not knowing the rules. Earl still trying to figure out where to start at. Bunch of balls tied up. Earl breaks out everything but one stripe and solid in one shot.

Earl misses. Shane out. 2 game lead. SVB 46%, Earl 37% break and runs. SVB . SVB .974, Earl .946.

Shane gets in trouble, misses awkward combo. Earl out. Now they are saying it's 15-12
Shane.???

This time Earl sends the cb into the next county.Shane should be out...he is. They're taking a break, they believe the score to be 18-16 Shane.
