The Decider Day One Thoughts

Thx Neil I was going to do the updates again but kinda hard for me to explain play by play with 8 ball. besides saying shane is breaking and running out LOL

Earl scratches on break again. Guess that practice on the break during the break isn't paying off. Open table, should be out....he is. 20-18 Shane.

Shane breaks dry, number of problem balls. Down to two problem balls, breaks one of them out and gets hooked from last three balls. Shane tells him "good luck". Earl runs out. 20-19 Shane.

Earl runs out, almost blew it. Didn't see the 10 ball but still slow rolled it in and shape on the 8. 21-20 Earl

How About Day 2 Observations....

Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that after 2 days, we could potentially have Shane beating arguably the greatest Tournament/ Exhibition 9-Ball player of most of our lifetimes and Earl beating the greatest BB 8-Ball player of our lifetimes?

And so it should come down to CALL SHOT 10-BALL !...

Earl breaks dry, cb behind ball one ball width off end rail. Somehow Shane made it. Hooked himself. Good hit. Earl misses back cut. Shane makes one and freezes Earl to one of his balls. Earl safes. Shane good hit and sticks Earl again. Earl safes. Shane caroms off 10 and makes hanging 9. Should be out... he is. 21-21.

Shane breaks, should be out. Misses first ball trying to hold cb! Earl should be out....he is. 22-21 Earl.

Earl breaks, number of problem balls again. Goes for 9-5 to open them up. Makes it, but 2 stays tied up. Two problem areas yet for Earl.Plays combo, down to just the 6 blocked, others open. Scratches opening up 6! Shane should be out from here.....he is. 22-22.

Thx for the updates, Neil. I'm at work, would love to see this.
Real good comments about the prevalent attitude toward bar tables.
