Alright, time to finally get a real (Not MDF) pool table. One of the things I've been looking for in a pool table is leg leveles. When my wife and I purchesed our house, we noticed the floors were uneven. Which was about par for the age our our house. We'll we got it taken care of (lots of support to the floor) but the floors kind of have hills and valleys. So the floor is not perfetly even.

Well, our first thought was simply to get a pool table which had leg levelers, however that limited our choices. Well, I came across the Kimberly from Diamond. I thought it was peculiar in that it says it has leg levelers but it has a tapered leg and not a leveler like that of a GC, how is that possible? Are there any other tables that have this feature?

Good choice, one of the best home tables made. The leg levelor is made of wood and incased within the hollow leg. Here's some pictures of a similiar diamond that I built. I think it will give you an idea of what your buying.

That is slick! Is that feature unique to diamond alone, or do all manufactures do that? Not that I know that much about pool table, but I assumed that the only type of leg levers they had were ones like a GC. But this is exactly what we're looking for. I know every loves the Pro AM, but those home tables are nice. It's a bit out of budget, but doable. Just our of curiosity, where do they sell Diamond tables at?
 
Standard Leg Levelers -
Won't work on all tables and will raise the height on tables that didn't have levelers
to begin with but doable on some tables altho may look strange. Better to use flat wood
or rubber shims to match the existing leg bottoms and get the frame as level as possible
prior to installing the slates.

Yeah, I didn't want to resort to using rubber shims. So that's why I've been looking for tables with leg levelers. After seeing that leg levelers can be enclosed in a tapered leg, it opens up more options for me. I just wonder if that's a standard feature in all tables with tapered legs, or that's an invention of Diamond. Ether way I got my eye on them. BTW, thank you SD.

When there's no leg adjusters the pool table world uses rubber or wood shims (amongst other items that are handy). Always have and always will until other mfg start using internal adjusters. Diamond makes a very nice table so if the adjusters are the most dominant option for you I'd imagine you would be satisfied with that table. On the other hand you may be better redoing the uneven floor - which helps with the table and probably the resale of the house when and if you move. JMO
 
We had thought about redoing the floors, but after looking at other older houses we've noticed many others had similar issues. It's nothing bad, it's not really noticeable... unless you have something that needs to be perfectly flat, such as a pool table. It's only uneven in the part of the house that isn't supported by a massive slab of concrete, which happens to be where the pool table is. Regardless, at first I was set on getting an Olhausen, now I'm really eying that Diamond.
 
I saw that in the picture, that's the 22 point leveling system, right? Is that on all models? I coudln't quite tell, but it looks like a bolt you turn which raises that white bar thing.
