The Drill Thread

I thought maybe we could have a thread where people post diagrams of drills they do. I practice drills from the Pro Skills Book Vol. 1, but I also like to make my own up when I'm bored.

I like doing this one. You have to run the balls on the rail first (any order), and then the 3 balls in the middle (also any order). Once that gets to easy, you can try to run them in order. Just make sure the 3 in the middle are the highest numbered balls.

This one starts off easy, but gets tougher towards the end (for me at least). Run them in numerical order without.

And for both drills, if you miss or run into another ball, start over.

I actually did that one the other day, except not in order. I'll have to try it next time in order.

I have a large binder full of drills gathered from various sources - Pro Skills Drills, Bert Kinister, Blackjack, Joe Tucker, Thorsten (PAT), etc., as well as this forum and other internet sites.

I'm starting to fill out my new website with lessons, articles, and drills, so will be diagramming the ones I like the most there. Only have a few drills right now, but you can check it out at http://mypoolblog.com as I hope to be adding to it a few times a month.

Good idea, I'll post some up here as well when I have time.

Here is your first drill, as executed by Thorsten Hohmann... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnD0O3fw6Ls

ooh - i'm bookmarking this thread. :) I have a bunch of drills printed out as well. several from the iPAT books, a bunch of 9-ball layouts and some other random spreads. I'll see if I can find digital copies to contribute.
