The elusive Mac Attack

After a few months of play, I like this cue even more.
It seems I can judge the throw better on long shots, and inside English is more predictable.

I've never got along well with low deflection shafts, and always revert to a standard maple shaft.

I'm a serial flipper/accumulator when it comes to pool cues, guns, knives etc., but this one has found a permanent home.

Maybe I've been playing more, or maybe its finding the right cue, but I've picked up at least a ball playing rotation. Guys that I used to struggle with now seem like a win/break even proposition instead of a lose/break even.

If a cuemaker could copy the joint insert and shaft profile of these cues, it would not be hard to sell them.

McDaniel cues are just terrific. I've owned at least 8, from high end with the piloted ivory joint to a few of the Mac Attacks. The sneakies with the piloted ivorene joints outplay them all. The taper to the end of the butt is just perfect. Sadly I resold every one I ever had...they are a perfect cue.
