How come the 3 English girls (Korr, Fisher & Fisher) did not play in the women's international pool championship?

Don't know if this is the reason, but there was a Women's Euro-Tour event going on at the same time in Trevio, Italy. Jasmin Ouschan won it.

One English, one Irish, one Scottish! The obvious answer is that they all live here now, and it would be tough to win enough to cover expenses, let alone win a substancial sum.

The EuroTour event in Italy was a 2-day event, Dec. 13 and 14. The event in NYC started Dec. 16, so it would have been possible, though possibly difficult, to play in both.

But none of the 3 players mentioned in post #1 played in Italy.

Kelly Fisher, last I heard (during her recent heart troubles), lives in Scotland now.
