Anyone else notice how well Kazakis and Ekonomopoulos are playing this week? I'll bet Jam has. But anyway go USA

Ekonomopoulous beat Donny Mills, 11 to 6, then he beat Oscar 11 to 10, and he plays Ralf Souquet next. What a tough bracket he has!

Kazakis beat Alex Pagulayan 11 to 3. He plays Hsu next.

Here's Kazakis, et al., hanging out at the Barrage Club between rounds. :cool:

Kazakis beat Alex Pagulayan 11 to 3 and if he can keep playing like he did against Alex winning the whole thing is not out of the realm of possibility. His stroke really looked smooth.

I can't wait till this weekend for the semifinals. I have a feeling both Greeks will still be standing. :cool:
 
I had the pleasure of having Alex and nick play in our tournament in Eliz city NC. Both players were super nice, the crowd loved them. Alex played great, he finished in a very respectable 4th place. Nick didn't have as much luck but lucky for him he is playing great when it's most important. I will be there pulling for them both, not only are they great players, they are good people in general. I will be right there with Louie pulling for them.
 
Wow! Ralf Souquet defeated Ekonomopoulos 11 to 6. Ralf is on a mission this tournament. He's played some toughies and come out on top.

Warren Kiamco is also playing strong. Warren and Ralf may rise to the top this year. You heard it here first. :wink:

Does the tournament end Friday? I thought that is what it was but Im hoping you are right.

Not that I'm very good at judging another mans looks. I do know that a lot of women are attracted to a certain pretty boy look in men, but just as many if not more are attracted to a manly look which Nikos Ekonomopoulos has in spades.

Their match was going on right behind me (I was in the top row of the pit in the Jacoby section), but I was focusing on Shane's match. I was checking in with the live scoring on the Lucasi sponsored page on my laptop.

The Ralf/Nick match was stuck on 8-5 (I think it was) for so long I thought the scores weren't being updated. It must have been a 30 minute or longer game. When I finally turned around at the end of Shane's match, they were still playing each other safe on the 5!

I asked the guy next to me who had turned backwards to watch their match how long the game had been going on. He said 'two hours!!!' I asked if they'd both taken their bathroom breaks during the game, and he said no.

That must have been a great safety battle. Anyone here see it and have a breakdown of it?

Of course, we don't know what Cezar Morales looks like. Oh, if forums had webcams, we'd all have a good laugh, wouldn't we? :D

I like the Greek. He's a manly kind of man. Nothing wrong with that! Good eye candy too!

I may not be a brad pitt or johnny depp but i dammn sure look younger than my age.

I think good-looking male players will be Mika Immonen ( altho he acts like a a cry-baby n pussy sometimes ) and Niels Feijen are considered good-looking.
For asians, Ko pin yi 's pretty striking too.
