Some of you may remember Tor Lowry. Zero X Billiards web site and the same name for Face Book.
Unfortunately, Tor was chased from AZ Billiards thru lies and unfounded accusations from one of our members,against his reputation so he was never able to get a foot hold on here and get to know anyone properly.
Tor has provided two 3 hour teaching videos for free. Available from his site, UTube and his FB page. His FB page contains tons of free info on the game. To me, that's not the MO of a cheater and a rip off artist.
Tor and his brother are also Indy film makers.
The possibility of a pool reality show has been the theme of many threads on the main page for some time.
Well get this, Tor is in the process, of filming a pool reality show, The Great Pool Experiment. Start date for filming is slated for June 1st in places such as Vegas, Chicago, Wisconsin etc. If I remember correctly from one of Tor's Face Book posts, people can actually make application to be in these episodes if you live in the areas that he will be filming in. Wow, is all I can say.
If he were doing anything in Canada, I would be in like a dirty shirt.
I urge anyone that is interested in the progress of his new venture, to log into Face Book and add Zero X BilliArds to your Friends list so you can follow any updates on the show.
Judging from the quality of Tor's teaching videos and his ability to script them, I have a good idea that this series is going to be pretty darn good.
It's just a shame that Tor doesn't post on AZ any longer but you can follow him on FB.
I for one, believe that Tor would have been a Class A contributor.
His FB page also has tons of great info on it.
I am waiting for the end result here and wish him the utmost success in his new Pool venture.
