"The Hand Flip"

I believe Mika is the reigning all time champion of the hand flip. It's most effective after the break when the balls didn't roll exactly the way you wanted.

For those that are still unsure exactly what the "hand flip" is it's basically the billiards sign language version of a millenial spouting "REALLY?!"

I'm originally from New Jersey, as in "Joisey" It's mostly used on drivers from New York. Not used too much here in Virginia because everyone carries a gun. A well armed public creates a polite society.

I really hope you're joking when you say this.

You know they're called "tits", right?

You need to try it to find out if it works. It works best on married or at least attached women with large boyfriends that have anger issues. If you survive, you will probably win your match.

Some of the tables I am privileged to play on in my local BCA BB 9 Ball Ca$h Bar League I find myself saying 'Hook or 'Fade' sans standard horizontal Hand Waive in favor of the 'Come on Getty up' off the dead rail waive:groucho:

Have a good day,

-Kat,

I picked it up from Mika. It's a learned behaviour from anyone who watches pro's play regularly.

Oddly, I don't see much of it in Snooker. Except maybe Stephen Maguire, if anyone in Snooker is apt to flip a hand or two, it's Maguire.
