The official world record is 28. This has been done four times: Komori, Ceulemans, Forthomme, and Caudron. Runs of 31 have been reported by Sayginer, and Patino: Sayginer in practice, and Patino ran 13 and out and kept going for 18 more.

To me I think the "record" should go to Jaspers. Playing Blomdahl in the European championships a couple of years ago, in the 15 point set format, he ran 13 and out in the first set, 15 and out in the second set, and 6 from the break in the third. That's 34 in a row without a miss.
 
WOW.Some new things to me.Didn't know anything about that.I should try to find that match.Would hardly love to see it.Seems as he get into dead stroke

My high run is 4, playing you! So I guess it's true you play better against good players. You still schooled me though. :D
 
There is no video of the Komori 28 or the Ceulemans 28, and unfortunately none of the Jaspers - Blomdahl EC final in Florange either, where DJ made 34 without a miss.
 
I recall the late Sang Lee did a high run in practice when he was still playing in Master Billiards (now closed).
