The Ideal Suitcase for the Traveling Pool Player

So my last suitcase died on the way back from BCA Vegas last year. It wasn't perfect. It was a Dockers 33" suitcase that allowed me to fit a 2x4 Porper cue case inside diagonally. I still have a Porper case I can use for travel but I prefer carrying my Whitten which is about 33" long. Does anyone here have any great suitcase solutions that allow you to pack your cues? Right now, I'm thinking of going with the suitcase below but this will likely require me to pack the cues and bring my cue case as carry-on. There's a larger size of this suitcase but the linear inches is 67 (most airlines require you to keep it under 62).

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. I'd hate to buy this thing and a year from now, find something much better.

I use eagle creek 36 inch flash point suitcase and am very happy!

Shop around online for online rebates! I got a hundred off and free shipping.

Plus, eagle creek has Lifetime warranty!
Plus, the design gives more room for your cue case to fit and has internal straps to tie down your cue case. Plus, don't have to store case diagonal. Best, option i found! Got flash point model which is totally water proof! Water proof zippers and all!

Mike Massey once told me he flew with a golf club travel bag. Put your case in the bag and pack your clothes around it to get a snug fit. Makes for a very secure setup and the price is in line with other suitcases. See, e.g.,

Then again, if the TSA lets you carry on your pool cues, this may be unnecessary.

Why wouldn't one of these work?
A player could travel from town to town with pretty much all the comforts of home. Just install a couple of shelves for clothes, hot plate, and a coffee maker, and you're good to go.
Take a big crap in the morning and by the time you get back from the tournament that night, the place will smell like daisies in the Spring.

Yeah, seconds after I started this thread, I saw the TSA update too. I do think this Golf Club Travel bag is an amazing idea. I wish I thought of it 10 years ago.

EDIT: I just looked at the specs. It's too big. The linear size can't be greater than 62 inches or you get slammed with fees. JetBlue, for example, charges $75 on top of usual baggage fees for something this big.
