The Legendary Pearl to Take On 14.1 Attempts

Earl is having trouble getting past the 2nd break shot currently
he got to 3 racks from what i seen today
He’ll fix that. Zero doubt.

I’ve spoke to Earl many times over the years, on the phone and in person. He’s always been very polite respectful to me-even if we have a difference of opinion. I have always had a cool time with him and our conversations. I don’t know him real well, but he’s always cool. Even when he’s fired up-it’s never directed at me. I’m the same in conversation. Passionate is what I call it.

I really hope he posts up some good runs. I know he’s been working on his 14.1 game a lot past months and when he settles in. The runs will come

At Earl's lofty age you need to be careful saying 'The runs will come'. ;)

From what I've seen, a bad leave on the end rail (with no angle on a ball on the end rail), then casually drawing the CB back into the corner pocket for a scratch, Earl looks terrible; and he sounded senile in the warm ups. At least he is in shape (compared to people who are in worse shape then he is).

Looks like he just got 4 racks and then caught the side pocket tit on a long one down the rail.

He is struggling. I play straight pool at a much different level, but sure can relate to the struggles of 14.1...Hope he gets it going!

Earl sounds the same as he has from 10 or 15 years ago. He's in good shape compared to just about any non professional pool player on the planet, lol. He's in terrific shape compared to any American that is 60 plus years old.
