The mailman came by and dropped this

It's gonna need cleaning, some machining of the back plate and the T-nut for the BXA200 toolpost.
Thanks to BCM for the recommendation of the dealer and the lathe.

Joey,

Well I hope the mailman didn't literally "drop" it - but you've got one STRONG mailman. LOL :D

Looks great, now the fun begins getting it tricked out for cuemaking/cuebuilding!!! (Gotta be politically correct here, ya know!)

The mailman came with a truck with a crane. I could not believe me eyes.
The pedestal and pan were already installed.
He craned the beast then wheeled it in inch by inch.
He was done in less than an hour.

Nice drop. But better change this(Will make cues to afford making the next one) to selling the avatar to afford the lathe :)

Hey Joey,
I know you are very picky and accurate with your stuff. What is the runout on the chuck right out of the box?

It did not occur to me to measure it even. The chuck felt pretty crappy.
I just took it out. It's a D1-4 camlock.
I'm a 6-jaw set true bison chucker. But my face plate won't work as it's the threaded kind that fits Logan and SB.

Knowing Joey he would have check out before he buy it. My guess the bearing behind the headstock is .0000000001:thumbup:

I can eyeball it at .0001.
I have the chuck, I just need the back plate.
Am pretty tired. The thing had so much gunk coating .
I need clearance in the back for the 4" dust hose too.

Off to Home Depot in the morning for the 2 1/2 long 1/2 13tpi bolts for leveling.

If you measure it, you will know the error.
Better not to measure, and then when it comes out wrong , you still have that surprise.

Looks good Joey.
Can you PM or post where you brought it from please.
Thanks.

Have a good day on Sunday.

Still needs some organizing.
The 6-jaw Bison chuck is mounted ( about 3 tenths runout ).
I machined the face plate some to get the face running true.
If I have time tomorrow, I'll machine the sleeve for the rear chuck ( 1 9/16 32tpi inside thread ).
Frkn metal store closed on me yesterday.
