The Manila Mauler/The Most Naive gambler to walk the planet

You can play champions for pennies on the dollar all day every day. How can u lose?!
How can I lose? It usually happens when balls don't fall into holes.

You do have a point, if I want to seriously challenge myself and face some tough action, it's a good deal as long as I can afford it.

One of my neighbors here in Chicago married into a Pinoy family. He goes back every year, and always reminds me about how inexpensive lodging, food, etc is. Like I couldn’t even believe how cheap. Consider that and maybe you could convince yourself to play some sets, knowing you’re saving money already? Just a thought.

It's not like everyone in the country can beat me. Just most of them.

Some days I have a hard time coming out ahead playing at home (the ghost). Sure can’t leave home and beat anybody. Absolutely no chance of leaving the country and beating anyone.

it has nothing to do with how good you play; its how good you can make a game after judging someones speed accurately.

thats why most top pool players are broke and stay broke. they cant get their big oversized head to realize when they dont have a good game and go off for all their cash.

if you cant quit losing, or not smart enough to change the game to one you can and will win at. or be smart enough to convince the opponent on changing to your game. get a job. and kiss your bosses ass as that is your place in life.

So would it be better to practice pool or work on your negotiating skills?

work on your negotiating skills. that enables you to play anyone in the pool room. and make money.
if making money is your goal in pool or part of it.

if its just to play then just play. but almost anyone that has gotten real good has played under pressure for decent money.
might as well be the one that wins instead of the other.

Maybe the whole point isn’t to beat anyone. It’s just to have nonstop action for pennies on the dollar against very good competition.
That was my point I don’t have to leave home to come in 2nd place. I also understand what you’re saying. That it would be about the experience and the competition for a fair price. If I went to the Phillipines and played I’d have to ask their grandmother for the 7 out.
