APA 7's 6's AND STRONG 5's IF YOU LIVE IN THE WASHINGTON D.C. METRO AREA, P.G. COUNTY, HOWARD COUNTY, ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, BALTIMORE CITY & COUNTY, In response to the opinions of some of our fellow AZ'ers & fellow league players I'm starting a Masters league for the summer session at Side Pockets in Laurel MD, the night is yet to be determined but will be on one of the following nights either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday Nights starting at 7pm the week of May 14th

No Handicaps!!! = No Sandbagging!!!
Race to 7!!! = Best Player Wins!!!
Jump Cues Allowed!!!
Pushout Allowed!!!

Cash and Prizes just like the rest of the APA!!!
4 man team max, 3 play each league night 1 player is an alternate.
Combination APA 8Ball, & Pro 9ball, no 3 foul rule.

Anyone that is interested please send me a PM with your Name, APA #, cell phone or, e-mail address so that I can keep you advised of all developments.

Anyone that wishes to just form their team captains contact me and you will be responsible to advise your team of developments as they occur.

This is an exciteing time let's Make this a success.

Still wondering what is wrong w/ the OP. And not 'coz we're both black either (never thought I'd be saying that!), I just don't see it...is it the size/ color? Why does this have to be about color? Oh please, STOP ME!!
 
I was wondering the same thing, I thought this would be very positive. Everybody is alway's saying what they don't like about the APA system and all the such. The Masters Format addresses all of those things, and allows the serious players to compete at the highest level for amatuers anyway, without all the other stuff we say that we don't like.

Actually, I found it very informative. I have been wanting to join a masters league for a while and it was never offerend in my area (Baltimore). now it looks liek it maybe be.

I think it was the size/ color options you used. Nostroke has been positng around here, so perhaps it was a pre-coffee moment.

This is an International Forum-For someone to post a screaming huge font AD with 300 exclamation marks for a league in ONE pool room with no possiblility of interest to 99.9999% of the posters here is obnoxious, selfish, inconsiderate and absurd.

For the Mods to leave it is horrible judgement. Imagine if every pool room in the World follows this lead. Maybe we will get word of "Wings Night" at Chalkies in Rotterdam.

Things have really gone downhill over the past year IMHO.

I did work to improve things- I sent you a "bad post" notice (ads etc). You ignored it ( i assume it goes to you) -what else could i do?

I think there is nothing wrong with his post.

= can't please everyone and you are the only one who complained, and are now making the complaints multiple and public.

Which is worse?

His post or your complaints? which is more relvant to playing pool and being on topic?

You can start a post that *is* to your liking, rather than make a complaint.

I'm saying that he made a pool related post, and a positive one at that.

You didn't like it. You complained to me.

I felt the post was good and appropriate, so I did not act on your complaint.

So....now the complaints go public and you complain how far down the quality is rather than post something positive.


His post may be local and doesn't apply to you, but why knock it?

If you complain to me in private and I don't take your side, do you think complaining in public is going to help?

Nostroke, just calm down...and tell me more about this "Wings Night" at Chalkies. Is this a trend in Europe? Because I hear "Curry and Peas" night is starting to pick up at some places and I would like to see more of those over here in the States. Another good one would be "Steak and Kidney Pie" night - you can get pretty decent frozen ones now, so even Jillian's here in Seattle could participate if they could find a way to deep-fry them.
 
Wow- Not a single post in support of me or my position.

I would have thought if i posted it should be acceptable for players to pee in an adjoining table's Drop Pockets that someone would agree with me.

This is a pretty rude wake-up that I can't ignore.
