Don and Earl are old pals. Gate City has another room behind the glass on the left as you walk in with 3 more nice Gold Crowns. Great room for your lessons. If you want to get a more earthy ( crusty ) view of the Greensboro billiards scene ask Earl to take you over to one of his old hangouts, Coliseum Billiards. They have a nice Connelly Table set up for one pocket! Earl spent a lot of time here before he left Greensboro. If you run into Flat Top while you are in Greensboro make sure he posts.

Not creepy my good man. Every pool bum in Guilford County knows who you are. I know you most likely will have the Pearl and CJ all comfy over at one of your cribs while they are cooling it in the Boro. I don't play as well as I did back in the day. Now days, I bob and weave, stick and run, with a little rope a dope thrown in. I need all the weight I can get. Still love the smell of Master Chalk in the morning however.

is coliseum as rough now as it was a couple years back? Had some friends go, won a little cash and got followed out to the car, if i recall they ended up having to flash a gun to get out of the parking lot.

Well said. Bringing your own security is always the prudent thing to do. Seriously though it can get a bit sporty at Coliseum Billiards at times but the place has character.
