Hey Guys,

I have noticed lately that i have been watching so many 14.1 matches and not playing enough, because of my busy life. The worse i get!

I dont know if it is because i am trying to hard to duplicate what i have seen on the DVD's, or just the lack of play.

I will say that because of the DVD's i have started playing much better patters, i am just finding it difficult to put together some nice runs. seem to be just lingering in the 20's and 30's

I must find an equal balance of watching and playing, dont tell me to quit watching cause i cant. i am absolutely hooked on it, i need a fix right now.

Does anyone else here suffer from the same thing that i do.??

Thanks
Steve

I would guess that its more due your lack of play and the fact that your changing your style/strategy of play. With more practice and developing the patterns I would guess it will all fall into place. At least this is what I keep telling myself will happen.

When I was taking some lessons from Sailor, he yelled at me for watching the dvds. I guess it gets you to try things you do not yet have the tools to do.
Still, I love watching them.

the problem is that i once had some of those tools, back when i was out on disability. being paid full time at work for playing pool 50+ hours a week.

so that too is a heavy weight hanging over my shoulders!

I used to take lessons with Tony Robles, i really think i need to go back to him for some brush-up instructions !

Thanks,
Steve

Plaing More and Watchin less !

well i started playin more and watching less and it seems to be working out okay so far.

no real major runs except a couple in the 20's, but i am feeling pretty good.

except for this twitch i am getting from the withdrawl symptoms from not watching the videos.
