The new Billiards Digest "Vault"

In case you don't already know about it, the Billiards Digest web site now has a new "Vault" link wherein BD subscribers can view photos, videos, archived magazines, instructional articles, et cetera.

Some parts of the "Vault" such as the Videos section have very little content but could have a lot of potential as this section expands.

Right now, for example. I'm reading a BD article from 1988, "Remembering Wimpy (Lasiter)". This is like taking a Time Machine and going back in time.

If you're a BD subscriber, it's definitely worth checking this web site out: billiardsdigestvault.com

I have to wait until I get my next magazine because you need your subscriber Id number to log in. As a lover of history I'm looking forward to some good reading.

It sounds like a nice value added feature, and it would be nice to have access. I have subscribed for a number of years now.

Perhaps I have screwed up the log in.

Anyone successful, please PM.

I had trouble signing in. I sent an email to the address Monday and thus far without response.

Or perhaps BD can answer the mail.

I was able to log in successfully. The login requires your full name be in Capitals and the password is your BD subscription ID. If you don't have your subscription ID available, you may need to wait until the next issue arrives in the mail.

After you log in, you can change the subscriber ID password into something easier to remember.

Your name should be all in caps with no spaces i.e.: JOHNSMITH not JOHN SMITH. Also the letter that is the first part of your subscriber ID should also be capitalized.

I am sure it is something trivial.

I sent the following letter this morning.

to BDVault@LubyPublishing.com

Gentlemen,

SECOND REQUEST Please respond. First request was sent 15 May.

I am a long time and current subscriber to Billiard Digest and am interested in accessing the value feature VAULT.
My name is ----------- and it appears that way on the BD mailing label.

I entered in all caps as noted.

I also tried other combinations.

I entered subscriber number
1xx19xxBD

Where x's are specific numbers.

Mailing Address Label

*********************AUTO**SCH 3-DIGIT 434
1xx19xxBD APR-13 1 SCK 40
----------
Number Street Ect
CITY OH Zip

I received the message INVALID USERNAME for both! What am I missing.? The vault seems like a nice benefit.

Advise or send me a response similar to lost password.

Thank You,

Can anyone ask them to change the featured video ? I like watching Efren as much as the next guy, but 'Cluster Buster' has been up there for waaaaay too long

Playboy just unlocked their digital vault yesterday. For a fee, you can "read" every issue of Playboy ever made online now, with pics of course.

Hmpfff!!! For NO additional fee, BD subscribers can watch just one video (of Allison), as well as read 32 back issues of the magazine. In addition, there are also six BD pictures of the month (including pics of the Scorpion and Captain Hook) available for your perusal. Who needs Playboy when you've got BD? ;)

I sent an email of the letter to Mike and Nathan.

Will advise when resolved.

Mike and a representative from the vault contacted me.

I now have access.

The trouble was I had a middle initial on my subscription. Don't ask me how that happened.

FIRST M LAST was to be entered as FIRST MLAST. With the space following my first name.

It worked like a charm.

Thanks again for the contact information.
