Who is he and why is he there? Im not knocking him, he is fine but new MCs are usually a bit tough to get use to.

The reason I ask is because Scott Smith is right there-Jay could handle it if he had to. Plus Isn't Shuman usually there? What is afoot here?

One thing nice about him in the matches I have heard him announce, not once has a dumb nickname been used. :clapping:
 
Derrick is Mark Wilson's son-in-law, the same guy who did the show for them prior to the Mosconi Cup in St. Louis. He is an excellent announcer imo and adds to the show. Still has to learn a bit more about the players but I like his energy. He brought in some music for Pat and accu-stats to use between matches and it's a plus as well.

He is also a radio DJ here in St. Louis for the biggest country station and has his own traveling Karaoke show called Dereoke.
