I hit about 25 balls with an all ebony pj cue.....has a very "smooth" hit...not only can zen make them look pretty...they have a pretty sporty fill....

wow, just WOW!!!
I had a chance to use the cue for a few days and I have to say, it's an awesome cue that hits as good as it looks. There were three different shafts (for 9-ball, Chinese 8-ball, and a hybrid) and all played real solid and with very low deflection for a solid wood shaft.
Pretty much everyone who tried it was surprised at the hit, with most people describing it as "pure", like playing with a one-piece cue. I even took it to a tournament and managed to beat the top shortstop in the area (maybe he was busy looking at the cue instead of the table).
Y'all definitely need to try out a Zen if you get the chance.

The inlays at the buttcap are very exquisite! Congrats on your new cue
