the 8' Pro Gandy is ready for play. i thought it was a standard 8' until i measured it yesterday. the championship tour cloth plays great. :D it plays well for a "pos".

Looks nice. And for $50, cloth and a little elbow grease it is quite a deal.
My Brunswick VIP is Pro 8 also. Wish it were 9' but not really a big deal. I practice on it and play on 9 footers in leagues and not a great difference.

that too has been my experience. my previous table was a $100, Ventura II "pro" but called a "pro" only because it had formica rails. it was a standard 8' and seemed small. the oversize 8' Gandy doesn't seem small at all. a few inches makes a big difference. setting these things up, getting them level and putting cloth on the rails is a pain in the butt.

oh, and notice, i've got straight pool counters on this table. once i get my stroke back, i might actually need them.☠☢☁

Nice job, the table looks great. It appears you got the deal of the century. I used to play at a room in the 60's that had all Gandys.

Get that video camera set up while the cloth is new. We need another 100 ball run on video to watch.

thanks, bill.... yeah, the table was a great buy but a ***** to get set up and leveled. i can slow-roll a long shot which gives me much pleasure. i love soft shots.

i have to get my brain set up first before video. i've only played a handful of times in about 18 months or more. it's coming back though. oh, and i MUST make a ball polisher....
