David are they adding any money to this? To try and pull a crowd in? Atleast 100 or something, or half the pot? etc.?
 
They need to add to draw some players....Just say 100 if 16, 200 if 32......if that kills a bar then they dont need to be open anyhow, besides they make thast back regardless, thats why tourneys die everywhere around this town, bars are cheap....It only takes all 32 players buying 1 coke, and they are even.......

not yet but first place usually takes home at least $200. Most places make you pay for the table and race to 3 with a 5-10 dollar buy in and matches the pot. everyone usually spends AT LEAST 10-15 bucks in quarters if you get far in the tourny.
 
well roughly a year ago we had the tourney there 30 to 40 players on a regular basis. he decided he didnt like his other customers could play on the tables so took out the added money durning a tourney. he said he didnt like all the pool players in his place, they were taking money from his other customers. another time i was gambling on the nine foot in the back and he decided i could no longer be back there. told him whatever and left his place and never went back. thing was i was gambling with one of his boys. didnt make cents.
