After reading all these threads about the future of pool, I thought a spontaneous moment with my daughter might cheer some people up!

Thats my 6 year old trying to play pool with a pattern for a chair leg on a newly bought GC III that as you can see clearly needs some help!

I was talking to a gentleman yesterday morning named MARK, he is the brains behind Stealth Cues, in Arizona. We were talking about what "kids' want, and do today.

IPods.

Cell Phones for Texting.

Videos Game for instant gratification.

Pool is way down the list for most kids who come from families with GREEN, kids who do play pool, are most the poor kids who belong to a Boys & Girls Clubs, or Y.M.C.A.'s with Pool Tables!

If this all don't change fast Pool as we know it today is DEAD! JMHO!!

Hell I think we got one commercial place to play Pool in the Valley of the Sun, that is close to what I was seeing in what I call a Real Pool Rooms, Circa 1970's that DON'T SERVE HARD LIQUOR, and most of the people who frequent this REAL POOL ROOM, in Tempe AZ called Kolby's, are Pool Players!

You've got a real cute kid there. Looks like she could get the pool bug and one day be a WPBAer or a future construction worker........hmmm.......maybe you should ban her from the table.
