As said I don't care who did it first, as I knew the story, but he's has been the sole user of it for so many years and it's pretty much been his signature

Even James white and Leon Sly made their different style so it was original. Tony even made his different than crown see here similar not the same

As there is no TM you are free to do as you please but I wouldn't use it just because he does i would make mine original . Tonys design is still different. His development was originally 8point cues and 8prong butt cap so there's a theory to his design although he's put it on his players and some 4pts for some people many years later

Mr Harris I'm not busting on ya at all you've done it better than anyone I've seen yet and original use of material

I just think a tad change to make it different other than materials would be cool

It's like Chevy releasing a corvette and their emblem has a Ferrari horse but to make it different they use different colors people are like really but they don't do that cause it's just not a thing to do they make a design different and claim it has theirs ?????

Mr. Harris beautiful work keep it up. Not everyone can afford 7-8 thousand for a BB or wait all them years. So I think if a customer wanted something close but not quite the same nothing wrong with it. Cue makers make cues that look just like a South West all the time but in the end it's not a SW same here as well end the end it's not a BB. Personal think your doing great work.
 
If you use a design consistently enough it will become a signature style. However never assume just because someone used it a lot, or often, that they were the first, or will be the last, or are entitled to be the only person to use that element.

These were done a LONG time ago around 2000 by Paul Rubino with NO CNC. He has done them over the butt cap, over and under the wrap and at the joint. Also out of many materials.

Question to ponder.

There is precision and then there is the best. Tony. If these Cues were built as well as a BB they should start around 8K?
