The highly anticipated rematch on the green baize between Higgins and O'Sullivan turned into a mismatch when O'Sullivan was K'Od in the seventh round with the judges scorecards at 6-1 in Higgins favour . A spokesperson for Eddie Hearn's Matchroom team said hopefully both fighters can return to the green baize again soon .

The undercard was much the same with Brecel landing the KO in the seventh round with McGill miscuing and mistiming his blows .
