I went to the table tonight with Coach Lee's techniques for aiming and showed one of my buddies some of what Coach Lee teaches in his video and the straight in shot technique is pretty awesome. Coach Lee's straight in shot technique has given me a new aiming perspective and new paths for the cue ball to travel. It's like having another key to open a different door.

I'm having a lot of fun right now playing pool. It seems that the more I learn, the more fun I have.

Do NOT ever give up Joey..."Coach Lee" could very well be the one who can elevate you solidly, to APA 5 status.. :D

PS..Does JB know about him yet ? I am going to suggest to Justin (at TAR) that you and John, should be "TAR 27" (Free streamed of course)...With proper promotion, he would have at least TWO PPV's. (I would make three, but I have to take my dog to the groomers)

PPS..This is no reflection on Lee's coaching, or teaching ability...I just hope he realizes how tough it will be, to upgrade you, and JB's game...as NO ONE I know, has more room to improve..:p

If John and I make it to the TAR27, I will demand a case of Yukon Jack to be set aside just for your personal "tasting" so that you can sweat the match in the style you are accustomed to.

Lee's straight in shot thoughts are golden once they set in. I'll never look at straight in or just off center shots the same again.

Excellent DVD even if it were twice the price, Lee gives up some big knowledge and insight in this one.

It's funny. LuckedOut and I don't know one another (that I know of ) and we found the same thing.

I also think that Coach Lee's straight in shots are PLATINUM if your stroke is VERY straight.

You are so right about looking at straight in shots in a new way. WOW!

It's like I have reduced my misses on straight in shots and increased my ability not only to make straight in shots but to get shape that I didn't even know was available to me.

I am starting to get VERY interested Joey...I am wondering what Coach Lee can do, for a washed up old pool player, who is pushing 80, with two ruptured discs, (C5 and 6) two recent strokes, 95% coratoid artery blockage, (right side), but thats OK, the left one is only 75% blocked. I am also in need of a hip replacement, but that is improving, I can walk over 15 ft, now, without falling down,...Plus, my eyes are bad, and my nerves are completely shot. Also, as you know, I drink waaaay too much, and have a 3 pack a day cigarette habit..But, my Dr. has me on oxygen now, and it is really helping..I Just hope I don't blow myself up..:

If Coach Lee can get me back in stroke, I will be forever grateful to him, and you... And I will hit the tournament trail again.......
...Look out Tunica, HERE I COME.....The Duck rides again !!!..:p

Reccent photo..

PS..I did not want to list ALL my ailments, (like my recent frontal lobatomy)..as I was afraid Coach Lee might reject me as a student...But then again, he helped YOU, didn't he ??? :D :D

Dick, I mean Duck,

I did not know the extent of your illnesses and it saddens me greatly.

You apparently have a quack for a doctor but that is understandable in more ways than one. Nevertheless, I urge you to take some positive thinking courses. In you, I detect a deep-seated desire to improve your current state.

While they may not be able to turn back the tide of all of your illnesses, the courses may be able to improve your self esteem, which could in turn, improve your pool game. Unlike Coach Lee's DVD which contains bona fide information that can improve most anyone's game, your biggest concern should be the need to work on your self esteem. That is what I am worried about most.

If you are looking for some good books to read, I have a rather lengthy list that may be good for your body, mind and soul. Just let me know and I will PM them to you. I don't really want to side-track this thread with your personal needs because there are people out there who will benefit from Coach Lee's "COACHING VIDEO".

P.S. Go easy on the Yukon Jack. Maybe you should consider switching to one of those Bud Light Platinum Beers, especially when you are watching Coach Lee's video. The video isn't difficult to understand but it is NEW INFORMATION that has been kept SECRET from you, all these many years, intentional or not. I'm not big on conspiracy theories but at least I have opened the door for you. ;)

Best Wishes for a healthier and happier 2012.

Whoa big fella..Unlike Earl the Pearl, I do not have a 'self esteem' problem..I think I am the greatest pool player, the best human being, the best drunk driver, and God's gift to all women :p..Oh, I left out the greatest smoker in the entire world..

El Duck <---Has also forgot more about pool, then 'Coach Lee' or Stan Shuffert will ever know...See, no problemo with my confidence level..:D :D

PS..But then, I haven't had my morning Yukon yet..My outlook may change.

bought the book off of amazon and it will be here next week. will most likely pick up the video as well.

Help is on the way!

:help:
Joey, You missed an important response..Were you practicing your "Straight-Ins ?..:boring2:...You are missing another chance for an 'Infomercial', plugging your new hero..:D

Dick,
I know I can't cut you off from that Yukon Jack but if you keep "helping" me with my personal expression, I am going to have to cut your prime time back. I'm sorry.

Have your ordered your copy of THE SECRET ART OF POOL dvd? I try to watch it when I work out on my Precor EFX 5.21i.

I mention this because I know deep down you want to get back some of what you've lost and don't want to just whine about your present state.

You've already made the first step in recovery and I'm happy for you, but that isn't enough as you and I both know. Leave Yukon Jack to the younger boys, get a rowing machine, an elliptical machine or just get started exercising by wading in the swimming pool. After you start working those different muscle groups, and learning all of the great stuff in THE SECRET ART OF POOL dvd, you'll start to feel like your old self and you will be offering poor old Cliff Joyner a rematch.

Who knows, you might cash in the one pocket event at Tunica, MS in July?

You don't have to be satisfied with your ill health, poor shooting and miserable self-image.:help:

(YOU CAN DO IT!)

I fell asleep just now watch Coach Lee's video.

I had a hard night at Buffalo Billiards last night and I just got tired after a sumptuous meal and took a nap. When I woke up the video was still playing and I found that I was suddenly able to understand every word Coach Lee was saying.

In Coach Lee Brett's video, "The Secret Art of Pool", if you are using English he recommends that you look at the same area on the object ball, as your cue tip is hitting on the cue ball. I've used it and I like it a lot but there is a lot in Coach Lee's video to like. This is marginal information so I don't feel like I am lessening the value of Coach Lee's video. I hope he thinks so as well and that he sells lots of videos because he has produced a lot of NEW INFORMATION that hasn't been available to the general public, especially in this part of the world. Coach Lee comes to us from "across the pond" and is here in America trying to make a go of it.

I'm glad someone can understand me

thanks for everyone who has purchased the DVD so far, and for all the emails i have received with your kind comments, long may it continue.

www.leebrettpool.com to purchase the DVD or the book, i am also interested in having wholesalers and distributors. My email is lee@leebrettpool.com

Regards Lee

I purchased the DVD a couple of weeks ago.....and glad I did.

LB covers so many sutle things that are so important to the whole shot.

Stepping outside the box allows for the shot line (for me) to pop out.

I have a table at home and practice everyday the info that is presented on the DVD. I want my practice to be permanent.

I have probably watched the DVD at least a dozen times and chapters 8, 9and 16 even more.

The best $52 I ever spent.

It would be nice if there was a Q&A on the website so that folks that have purchased the DVD could ask questions. It could be a private forum.

Thanks LB

John C

Jimmy Reid uses this same type of aiming in his "Almost All I know" DVD set and explains it very well.
