The see system - Am I missing something.
The see system works, no doubt about it. However when I ordered mine via Internet download I received a video of a guy moving into an object ball from one end of the table to the other to hit a object ball.
I also received some crude and badly layed out pages of info on the system.
There was an update available for those who had already purchased but I didn't bother because my first impressions weren't high.
Did anyone else experience the same results or
Am I missing something.

Just email me under info@infinite-billiards.com.
Sounds weird. Actually I can't really imagine what you received...
When I see your name I can check your purchase and will send you the new edited update ( by Scott Rohleder) for 4.95
240 pages of DIN A 4 pdf and 5 hours of video in perfect layout and HD video quality
Best regards

Not sure what you got either, but I wouldn't categorize the materials as crude by any means - though I may be biased... :)

Ekkes put a lot of study and time into the written material and 5+ hours of video instruction, a ton of information there for anyone who wants to study it, and it definitely works. Either Ekkes or myself would be happy to help if you get the updated materials and have any questions.

I've tried SEE System and it not that bad and easy understanding how to see and do it but only thing hard in my journey learning it is to be very precise on foot work and position and seeing. I've made some balls in and it pretty cool but I still stick to way I aim cause I don't want the SEE system to be in my way of my original way of aiming when I am in tournaments and stuff.

I feel like SEE system automatic set the offset for ya already just don't know it but it work. for hard cut shot, just aim edge to edge instead of the middle of the object balls. it pretty cool.

I didn't need a dvd or videos( well I watch some youtube videos) but Mostly I did was read the diagram and notes that was given and it was very cool to see and understand it.

I've recently started studying the method and was very impressed with my results. "Wow!" would be a correct word to describe my impression.

The PDF and videos contain a lot of useful information and everything is well explained. Besides the method itself Ekkes also explains why it works, which is very important and gives a lot of useful hints how to shoot in different specific situations. And of course his A+++ support worth mentioning. It is a pleasure to see a person who is passioned about what he is doing and who cares about others.

Thanks Ekkes!

I second this.

I remember when I first stumbled across a thread about the SEE System on here and I had major doubts. How can using shadows possibly help? I bought the package purely out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. Ekkes is a very good player and teacher and has a depth of knowledge about the game. The biggest improvement I saw was in banking balls. Makes it far too easy! On snooker and English pool tables where you have no diamonds to guide you it makes banking so much more fun...because you make more balls.

After I discovered the SEE System I quickly realised...so this is why Daz is so good!

I am happy that SEE did help some!
Thanks for the kind words!

By the way, DAZ was a monster player before and his aiming regarding shadows was close to SEE already... but SEE obviously did not hurt his game:grin:

Obviously, if a player has problems with delivering his cue in a straight fashion, no aiming system in the world will help or work...

So working on a good a good stance, grip and cue action is the basic for all. Best and fastest way to get this down is working with an instructor imho. This money is well spent as it might save the player a lot of time and frustration!!!

Approaching the balls always the same (same distance to the CB, same virtual line(s) same eye and same foot position for same shots) and knowing about the effects of acceleration, speed and side spin is crucial for any game in cuesports. And when I talk about knowing, I do not mean knowing in general... I mean knowing about the exact effects when using your personal stroke, your personal cue and shaft! ...knowing about the exact adjustments needed when using side spin, a different speed, acceleration or a different kind of stroke, (e.g. stun vs follow)

I have tried my best to cover all of this (my way) in the SEE-SYSTEM and I am happy that some players did profit.

Best regards from beyond the pond!

I just wanted to take a moment to say what a fine teacher Ekkes is. When he first came out with his SEE System, I reached-out for information and he went, what I would consider, "above and beyond" to help me and follow-up to check on my progress.

Like a few on here, when I first heard the word "shadows," I was like "EHHH." I always considered shadows really "iffy" when being used to aim. Today, I prefer to use his shadow references for all 1/4 ball alignments and my game has really benefited from that info.

Ekkes is very patient, analytical and super passionate about teaching.

I personally think those who consider themselves a "Student of the game" should carefully study SEE, Pro1, CTE and 90/90. They are all closely related, but all take different paths to the promised land.

Just for clarification only concerning your reference to Pro1.

There is CTE PRO ONE and then there is Pro1 which is also CTE.

Great post, especially the last sentence, which I firmly believe as well.

Its true Daz has always been a beast. I remember playing him back when he lived nearby and had hair! He never did explain how he aimed to me though. Probably didn't want me to win ;)

Ironing out your imperfections should be the first thing on anyones list. Without a straight stroke you wouldn't know if you missed because you aligned wrong or because you didn't hit where you intended. My snooker coach was adamant when I was a child I needed nothing more than being able to recognise 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 ball angles. The rest was down to stroking straight. In a way he was right, you pick the angle closest to making the ball and adjust from there. I think this is why lots of people are quick to disregard some aiming systems. They only work if you have a solid base so if you don't you won't see any improvements.
