Anyone know anything about "The Shorty" ?

Apparently its an older fully weighted short cue, but I don't know if it was intended to be a jump cue or what.. anyone know what it is or who might have produced it etc..?

My very first cue as a kid, before being gifted a Schmelke A1.
Obviously the label on this one is much better than the one on mine ever was.

Nice.

I had one years ago and it worked quite well in a pinch. Mostly for guys with a nine foot table and a seven foot basement...

So it sounds like it was actually just a short cue, meant to be a short cue, for space reasons...

Cool, thanks. They are kinda nifty I guess, I like the weight distribution.

What time frame are we talking about ? And where were they purchased? Or made?

If memory serves, I got my first 9 footer in 1974. If you had a straight shot from the jaws of one side pocket to the other, I had a pole to contend with. Only used it a handful of times.

I believe mine may have been aluminum and ran c. ten bucks. They were very widely available most anywhere.
